This Site

This site is an attempt to try to give something back to the community that I have learned so much from, if it wasn't for those kind people who shared their hard work, I wouldn't be half as good at computer related stuff as I am now. Under the source section of this site you'll find some source code I have written, and under the software section you'll find some open-source applications I have written.

Who Am I?

My name is Michael Bianco, I'm 100% Italian and proud of it (as most Italians are). My Catholic religion is an integral part of my life; without God, the sacraments, and my church friends I wouldn't be where I am right now. I find community service very rewarding, and try to donate a good portion of my time to helping other people. I live in the United States and enjoy a plethora of outdoor activities my favorite being snowboarding, biking, sailing, and soccer. I love competition and enjoy playing strategy based games. Music is what keeps me going throughout the day. My favorite bands are U2, Coldplay, Switchfoot, Relient K, The Fray, Jars Of Clay, and Chris Tomlin.

Obviously, as you might have noticed from this web-site, and my freelance design site, I enjoy designing and programming web-sites. Programming is my favorite part of the web development process, it never gets boring or old; there is always something more to discover or accomplish. I love problem solving and creating new applications. I thrive on challenge; give me a programming challenge or problem and I'll figure out a solution.

I run OS X 10.4 on a MacBook Pro & 6 year old Sawtooth G4. I enjoy programming for the Mac using Objective-C and the Cocoa framework. I have created a couple of open-source applications along with two shareware applications.
